With a frown, Matthew finally yielded. He picked up the phone and gave it to Stella.
Stella’s hair was a mess, and her face was flushed.
She looked at the phone and saw that the call was from Alina.
Stella was surprised. However, she cleared her throat and answered the phone.
“Stella, I know it is late. I’m really sorry for bothering you,”
Alina said, her voice softer than usual.
Matthew frowned slightly upon hearing that it was Alina.
Stella sat up quickly and replied, “No, it’s no bother. What can I do for you?”
Seeing the frown on Matthew’s face, she put her arm around his neck and ki*sed him lightly.

“There’s someone at the door. Did you hear that?” Alina asked.
Stella was confused, but she answered honestly, “Yes.”
Smiling, Alina said, “You didn’t lie to me.”
Alina trusted Stella more now that she knew Stella and Matthew were married.
“I asked my assistant to send a document to Matthew’s house. She is at the gate of Prosper Bay. I think you may be in need of the document,” Alina said.
It was work-related, so Stella didn’t dare slack off.
“I see. Thank you for sending me the document.”

Matthew stared at Stella resentfully.
“Is there anything else I can do for you, Alina?” Stella asked. She wanted the call to be over so she could soothe Matthew.
Alina had no idea she was interrupting something, so she continued, “I have a lot of work this week, so I need you to hurry up with the dress.”
However, before she could finish, Matthew interrupted her.
She had sent someone over late at night, and now she was refusing to let Stella off the phone.
Matthew grabbed the phone from Stella and said coldly, “It’s late, Alina. Stella is your designer, not your assistant. If you need her, you can contact her during working hours.”
Stella snatched back the phone and hurriedly said, “I’m sorry.”
Alina said with a smile, “So Tobin is with you. It seems he isn’t happy about my disturbance.”
